What is Donate Now VT?  The ability for non-profit organizations the ability to add a secure payment form to an existing website for the sole purpose of accepting donations.  The Donate Now VT form is hosted on Sage’s server, which eliminates the need to obtain an SSL certificate.  This form will collect all the donor’s sensitive billing information along with the fund they are donating to and process the payment though Sage’s gateway.  Donate Now VT also has the ability for donors to sign up for recurring transactions at the time of their initial donation.

Why Donate Now?  Why not a terminal or PC?  Here are some advantages of Donate Now offered by Sage.  Advantages are: Simplicity; low cost; very fast; updated by provider so always current; directly integrates to other software; collects key information from donating person; provides donation receipt; can be easy to reconcile provided reporting is imported; good reporting.  Limitations are: Really, only one - No card present but Donate Now is designed specifically for web-based transactions
